Design leader aligning creative vision with business strategy while nurturing talent and design culture across regions.

I am a principal level architect and design leader with three decades of experience guiding award winning transit-oriented, multifamily, mixed use, science and technology, and higher education projects across the United States and internationally. I am an expert in mass timber design and serve as a Design Critic at Washington State University, mentoring the next generation of architects. My focus is on design excellence in the broadest sense, aligning creative vision with business objectives to transform communities, organizations and lives. I also have a strong record of building and mentoring high performing design teams. Most recently, I founded and led Design Café, a monthly global forum for sharing ideas with approximately 250 regular participants, which has helped nurture talent and strengthen design culture across the organization.
My vision is to create an architecture of sculptural lightness that inspires ideas, promotes joy, and elevates sustainable systems.
